However, I got it because of the Google advertising about cooking using Google Assistant and that simply doesn't work at all. Can't add your own recipes, can't work on more than one recipe at a time, difficult to switch between any other activity and your recipe without losing your place.

Unlike most of the other smart displays, the Nest Hub doesn't have a camera, which might be a negative for some, but privacy-minded folks will appreciate its absence. Google also said that it is continuing to work with partners such as Eve, Nanoleaf, Philips Hue, and Tuya, to make sure more of their devices work with matter. They are also working with Samsung to build a smoother Multi-Admin experience so that you are able to easily add to your Google Home devices that have been set up with Samsung SmartThings. After creating a new Activity using the Logitech Harmony app be sure to sync your remote so they appear on your remote screen and/or Harmony app. You'll then be able to immediately use the new Activity using the Google Assistant. If you’ve added Home Assistant to your phone’s home screen, you have to first remove it from home screen, otherwise, this HTML5 app will show up instead of a browser. Using it would prevent Home Assistant redirecting back to the Google Home app. Click the + button on the top left corner, click Set up device, in the “Set up a device” screen click “Works with Google”. Selecting that should lead you to a browser to login your Home Assistant instance, then redirect back to a screen where you can set rooms and nicknames for your devices if you wish. Add the google_assistant integration configuration to your configuration.yaml file and restart Home Assistant following the configuration guide below.

Try “OK Google, sync my devices” - the Google Home app should import your exposed Home Assistant devices and prompt you to assign them to rooms. You are returned to the service account list, and your new account is shown. Have the new user go to their Google Assistant app to add your app name to their account.
